Asus ZenFone 6 scores Android 10 update in several markets, US included
The ZenFone 6 is without a doubt one of the best (and most unconventional) high-end smartphones you can buy on a relatively tight budget in the US right now, and according to multiple happy owners on Reddit, Asus is making the 6.4-incher even better by updating its software to the newest OS version.
That probably means not everyone can download and install the latest goodie pack on their ZenFone 6 units around the world, but those who’ve been able to apply the update are pretty content with the speed improvements brought to the table, as well as the overall new system stability. Hence, there’s a very good chance the staged rollout will go wide in the not-so-distant future.
Curiously enough, the Android 10 upgrade currently making its way over-the-air to the Asus ZenFone 6 tips the scales at an unusually slender 800MB or so, which could mean the company left Google’s “vanilla” OS largely untouched.
