Google Stadia App Available Now on Android
The Google Stadia app can be downloaded now from the Google Play Store. But you need an invite code to use it now.
“Stadia is an all-new gaming platform that lets you play games across screens. Stadia is one place for all the ways we play,” the app description reads on Google Play Store. “Play games across the screens you own. Play with one click. Smooth, beautiful, low-latency gameplay. Always getting better.”
I also discovered that Stadia will not work with my G Suite account, so I’ll have to use a lesser-used Gmail account to access the service when it debuts later this month. Google warned me that accounts are not transferable, so any content I buy via my Gmail will be locked to that account.
Some reports note that Stadia is a Flutter app, meaning that it was written using Google’s cross-platform developer framework. This suggests that all Stadia app versions across Windows, iOS, Chrome, etc. will be based on Flutter.
