The biggest announcement at Huawei’s Developer Conference earlier today was undeniably Harmony OS, but the Chinese company is still very committed to Android. So much so that it’s currently preparing to roll out the Android 10 Q-based EMUI 10 interface.

Huawei should continue developing EMUI 10 throughout September before concluding tests in early October. The final version should arrive pre-installed on the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro which are currently expected to debut in mid-October. After that, Huawei will likely commence the rollout for older devices.

Regarding the actual list of compatible smartphones, the P30 and P30 Pro will be the first to receive the update followed by the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design. Huawei will then push the software out to the 2019 P Smart and P Smart+ models in addition to the P Smart Z. Completing the lineup of Huawei devices will be the 4G and 5G variants of the Mate 20 X, the Huawei P20 duo, the Mate 10 series, and last year’s Mate 20 Lite.

If you’re rocking an Honor-branded device, the Honor 20, 20 Pro, and 20 Lite will be the first to receive Android 10 Q followed by the Honor View 20, Honor 10 & 10 Lite, and Honor 8X.
