We’re talking about the so-called “Super Fast Charging” support, which will apparently expand in the not-so-distant future to the… Galaxy A91. If you were somehow expecting Samsung to miraculously add 45W speeds to the 6.3-inch Note 10 post-launch, we’re sorry to inform you that’s unlikely to happen. But while the Note 10, Note 10 5G, S10 5G, A90 5G, A80, A70, and the Book S laptop are pretty much guaranteed to stick to 25W Fast Charging capabilities, Samsung Hungary suggests the A91 will join the Note 10+ and Note 10+ 5G in supporting insane 45W rates.

That’s probably a mistake, but we’re fairly certain a mid-range Galaxy A91 with compatibility for blazing fast 45W charging is indeed in the pipeline. After all, recent gossip already painted this non-flagship beast an impressive picture in terms of imaging capabilities, with a quad camera setup purportedly comprised of a 108, yes, 108MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide angle lens, a 12MP telephoto shooter equipped with 5x optical zoom functionality, and a trendy Time-of-Flight camera.

Unfortunately, the rest of the specs and features are kept under wraps for the time being, but even though the A91 is expected to be a part of Samsung’s 2020 Galaxy A lineup, an official announcement by the end of the year is very much on the cards. A 5G-enabled Galaxy A90 is also likely to see daylight this fall, but interestingly, its charging capabilities are expected to be limited to 25 watts, possibly to save costs and not come too close to the Note 10 as far as retail pricing is concerned. The same can probably be said for why the A91 is unlikely to include 5G support.
