Possible Galaxy Watch Active 2 spotted in the wild alongside Galaxy Note 10+
At first glance, the wearable pictured looks just like the original Galaxy Watch Active that launched earlier this year and as such should be taken with a grain of salt. However, from what they saw in person,
believes this is the second-generation model that’ll be introduced next week. Nevertheless, do take the information with a grain of salt.
For those of you that aren’t yet aware, the key external difference between the old and new versions of Samsung’s watch is the physical button that sits high up the right side. On the model launched in February, it’s round while on the updated device it’s expected to adopt an oval shape. As pointed out by the source, there’s also a slight difference when it comes to the color. Specifically, the Rose Gold finish is now “more red than pink.”
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
As corroborated multiple times since the design of the Galaxy Note 10+ first leaked back in early June, Samsung has fitted its next device with a large 6.7-inch Infinity-O display that boasts curved edges and a punch hole in the center. From the pictures seen today, the latter appears to be slightly smaller than the Galaxy S10’s implementation and the gap between the upper bezel and camera seems to have been reduced slightly too. This means users will have more usable screen real estate because the status bar will be slimmer.
Despite not being visible in the live photos, a bunch of leaked press renders has already confirmed Samsung’s next premium flagship will feature a total of four cameras on the rear. Per leaked information, the main sensor will offer a 12-megapixel resolution and arrived paired with a new three-stage variable aperture lens that switches between f/1.5, f/1.8, and f/2.4 depending on current lighting conditions.
Accompanying this should be a second 12-megapixel camera that’ll support an f/2.1 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Completing the setup will be a 12-megapixel super-wide-angle alternative that supports an f/2.2 aperture and a dedicated Time-of-Flight camera for improved bokeh imagery. On a separate note, both the primary and telephoto cameras support optical image stabilization. Also, to help store all of your photos Samsung has reportedly fitted the Galaxy Note 10+ with 256GB of internal storage as standard although microSD card expansion will also be supported.
In regards to performance, European Galaxy Note 10+ units will ship with Samsung’s own Exynos 9825 while devices destined for the US market will embrace Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855. Regardless of the model purchased, though, 8GB of RAM is to be expected.
