It’s Surface day, and Microsoft just announced a whole lot of new Surface hardware. The company didn’t hold an event for the new hardware and is instead launching the new devices with blog posts. And that’s really the new normal nowadays. Microsoft has previously announced new Surface hardware without an event, so this is not really anything new for the company.

Anyway, here’s everything you need to know about the new Surface Spring 2020 lineup.

Microsoft’s newest Surface Book, the new Surface Book 3, is here. It features a lot of performance upgrades, but the design of the hardware remains unchanged. Here are some of the key points:

• Microsoft’s “most powerful laptop” ever.
• It’s 50% faster than the Surface Book 2, with Intel’s 10th gen processors (Core i5 or i7)
• NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX GPUs — GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR5 memory on the 13.5-inch variant or GTX 1660 Ti with 6GB of GDDR5 memory on the 15-inch variant.
• The 15-inch variant is capable of running “top” Xbox Game Pass titles at 1080p/60fps, and there’s also a variant with NVIDIA’s Quadro RTX GPU for commercial customers.
• 15.5 hours of battery life on the 13.5-inch variant, and 17.5 hours of battery life on the 15-inch variant.
• You can get up to 32GB of RAM on the Surface Book 3.
• Includes the “fastest SSD” Microsoft has ever shipped.
• Starts at $1599, available May 21.

Microsoft’s second-generation Surface Go is also coming out today, as expected. The device continues to be the most affordable Surface, but it only includes some minor upgrades:

• Bigger 10.5-inch display with slightly thinner bezels while still having the same dimensions as the original Surface Go.
• Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y processor or Core m3 processor options, with the Core m3 variant offering 64% boost in performance compared to its predecessor.
• Up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage.
• Intel UHD Graphics 615.
• New dual far-field studio mics for improved video calls.
• Available in Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue.
• Starts at $399, available May 12.

Microsoft’s newest Surface Headphones last longer, and are more comfortable to wear:

• Now offers up to 20 hours of battery life (up from 15 hours on the original Surface Headphones).
• Improved sound quality with enhanced Surfaced Omnisonic sound.
• Features the same 40mm free edge speaker driver and 13 levels of noise cancellation as the original Surface Headphones.
• Updated ear cup designs allow for greater comfort.
• Available May 12 for $249.

At $199, the Surface Earbuds will cost less than originally announced. Microsoft first announced the Surface Earbuds in October of last year, but you will soon be able to actually purchase the new earbuds.

• The new earbuds will be finally available on May 12 after months of wait.
• Features a 13.6mm speaker driver and Surface Omnisonic sound profile.
• Two microphones on each earbud, but no noise-cancellation.
• Support for Fast Pair on Android and Swift Pair on Windows 10.
• 8 hours of listening on a single charge, and 24 hours of total battery life with the wireless charging case.

Microsoft’s newest Surface Dock ditches the Mini DisplayPorts in favour of new USB Type-C ports.

• 4 USB Type-C ports.
• 2 USB Type-A ports.
• One gigabit ethernet port.
• One 3.5mm audio out port.
• No Mini DisplayPort.
• Faster charging, higher transfer rates.
• Available later this month for $259.99.

The new Microsoft USB-C Travel Hub is essentially a cheaper and smaller Surface Dock for those who aren’t willing to spend $259 on a dock:

• One USB Type-C port, one Type-A port.
• One ethernet port.
• One HDMI port.
• And a single VGA port.
• Available later this month for $99.99.
