But now Nokia Mobile is back with a short IFA 2019 teaser video on Twitter, and although this is also extremely cryptic, the text accompanying it confirms a “mix of smart and feature phones” will be introduced to the world next Thursday. That certainly sounds like Nokia, which similarly unveiled a whole bunch of Android smartphones and a single “dumb” handset model at the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in February.

Today’s 15-second teaser seems to be focusing on one specific device slated for a September 5 announcement in the capital city of Germany, but for the life of us, we can’t figure out exactly what Nokia is hinting at here. Bright new colors? A dual-tone design of some sort? A circular camera setup? It’s all a blur, but on the bright side, a number of credible sources, tipsters, and publications have been anticipating Nokia 5.2, 6.2, and 7.2 releases for several months now. 

That means the high-end Nokia 9 PureView is unlikely to get a sequel just yet, and that intriguing 5G-enabled “value flagship” probably needs to wait as well. But the Nokia 7.2 looks pretty exciting for a mid-ranger, with a triple rear camera arrangement possibly including a 48MP primary sensor, a respectable Snapdragon 660 processor, and a discreet waterdrop-style notch allegedly in tow. 

Meanwhile, the Nokia 6.2 could arrive with a hole punch display, the same Snapdragon 660 SoC, and a combination of 20, 8, and 5MP rear shooters. Finally, the 5.2 is naturally expected to offer the humblest specs of the bunch, likely including a lower-res screen with a wider notch than the 7.2, as well as a slower chipset, and a dual camera system on its back.
