Brave Announces Playlist on iOS, New Usage Milestones

The Brave web browser now has over 30 million monthly active users and the firm is introducing a new feature, called Playlist, on iOS.
“Brave’s iPhone and iPad users can now enjoy the new Playlist feature available in today’s update to access video and audio content saved from their favorite platforms,” Brave notes in the announcement post. “With Brave Playlist, users can access their content in one list from the most popular platforms, anywhere and anytime, making it ideal for commuting, traveling, or everyday enjoyment of music, videos, and podcasts.”
I haven’t tested this feature yet, but it looks like you can add any audio or video you find on the web to your playlist from within the Brave browser. And then access your playlist of saved content from the Brave Playlist option in the menu.
Brave says that video and audio will play in the background, so it will keep playing when you navigate away from Brave. You can also enable auto-play so that all of the items in your playlist will play back-to-back if desired. Content playback can be controlled from the lock screen and the iOS Control Center, and can play in full screen if desired.
With regards to the usage milestone, Brave also notes that it has 10 million daily active users in addition to the 30 million MAUs.
