7T, we have some good news, as the former model is
currently on sale at 50 bucks off its list price in an 8GB memory configuration. Just like the 12 gig RAM variant, this is capable of housing a generous 256 gigs of content internally, fetching a more than reasonable $649 at the time of this writing after the aforementioned $50 markdown.
Obviously, that’s not what we’d usually call an earth-shattering discount, but with the top-of-the-line version stuck at $749, it definitely helps boost the appeal of the slightly lower-end configuration. By the way, the entry-level 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of the
OnePlus 7 Pro, which was available back in the day for $669, is no longer up for grabs or listed on the company’s website at all.
In case you’re wondering, your $649 will get you a beautiful 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, and essentially no bezels, as well as a Snapdragon 855 processor, a triple rear-facing camera arrangement composed of 48, 8, and 16MP sensors, a pop-up 16MP selfie shooter, a hefty 4,000mAh battery with Warp Charge support, in-display fingerprint recognition technology, and your choice of Almond, Mirror Gray, or Nebula Blue paint jobs.

OnePlus 7T, which actually packs a slightly faster Snapdragon 855+ SoC, but only 128 gigs of internal storage space. The new guy also settles for a smaller notched screen with a lower resolution than that of the
OnePlus 7 Pro, while the battery capacity is downgraded but not by a large enough degree to notice a significant difference in real-life endurance.
All in all, we honestly have no idea which of these two provides more value right now, so… maybe flip a coin if you’re undecided what to buy on a sub-$700 budget ahead of the holidays.
