Windows 10 Redstone 5 Comes to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring
As we are nearing the public release of Windows 10 Redstone 5, Microsoft has started the release with a wider group of Windows Insiders. Last night, the firm released build 17692 of Redstone 5 to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring, introducing a bunch of new features for those who are yet to try out Redstone 5.
While one of the biggest features of Redstone 5 was removed just recently, the release still brings a bunch of new features. This includes a dark theme for the File Explorer, a redesigned Game Bar, a redesigned Microsoft Edge, a brand new screenshotting experience, improvements to Cortana, improvements to Fluent Design, and much more.
Microsoft’s Jen Gentleman put together a handy list of some of the highlights in Redstone 5, so far:
If you are a Windows Insider in the Slow Ring, make sure to grab the new build from Windows Update.
